C4I Systems Operations Engineer DALMA 180SOE Dalma Tech2, Saudi Arabia Duties and Responsibilities1. The candidate shall be responsible for providing technical and operations expertise on the C4I System to support all design, installation, testing and commissioning activities.2. Participate in User Review Board (URB) meetings, review proposed operational changes to the C4I system, and provide recommendations.3. Assist operational users in investigation and analysis of system anomalies and in preparation of User Change Requests (UCR) for presentation to the URB.4. Assist the engineering staff, when requested, to understand operations-oriented UCRs approved for implementation.5. Provide operational evaluation of C4I System modifications and/or upgrades.6. Assist in the development and review of concepts and on-going projects to enhance the C4I System.7. Review the new manuals, regulations, procedures and checklists, as required.8. Provide support to any COC section requiring operational assistance.9. Develop, produce, and give briefings pertaining to the C4I System operation, when required.10. Produce training materials in accordance with OEM manuals, when required.11. Provide On-The-Job (OJT) training to personnel, when required. Job Specification QualificationsShall have a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Systems Management or Operations Research. Must have excellent command of the English language both written and oral. Shall possess effective writing, communications, and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in the use of desktop applications.Experience1. A minimum of fifteen (15) years cumulative experience in design, installation and/or operations of security/military command, control, and communication systems.2. Shall have five (5) years of operational experience in security/Command and Control systems.3. Shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in C4I systems management and five (5) years experience in force level command center operations.4. Shall have general knowledge of computer networks, communication interfaces, tactical data links, configuration control procedures, and software engineering principles through his work experience.5. Must have experience in prioritizing and clarifying system requirements between communications, computers, and hardware engineers and systems operators.6. Shall have the experience in reading and understanding schematics and blueprints.7. Must have knowledge and understanding of military regulations and Technical Manuals.8. Shall have demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple, often competing tasks, effectively.9. Shall be familiar with emerging C4I concepts and be able to apply them for the C4I system.10. Experience as a certified instructor in C4I operational positions is highly desirable.
