COMPANY : Leading Medical Products ManufacturerPOSITION : Manufacturing Automation ManagerLOCATION : Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaPACKAGE : SAR 8,000 - 10,000OVERVIEW:The Manufacturing Automation Manager is tasked with developing and implementing innovative automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve product quality. The role focuses on leveraging technology to streamline processes, ensuring that production goals are met in an efficient, sustainable, and safe manner.RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Automation System Design and Development:Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reliability within manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for automation projects.Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.2.PLC Programming and Control Systems:Develop and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to ensure smooth operation of automated machinery.Write and maintain PLC code, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.3.Equipment Installation and Commissioning:Coordinate with vendors and contractors to oversee the installation and commissioning of automated equipment and systems.Conduct thorough testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.4.Maintenance and Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for automation systems, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.Collaborate with maintenance teams to perform routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades of automation equipment.5.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation enhancements to streamline operations and reduce costs.Implement industry best practices and stay abreast of technological advancements in automation engineering.PRE- REQUSITES:Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.5-10 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry or FMCG sector.Experience in Food Packaging or Medical Packaging industries will be advantageous.Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues PRB
