Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 7+ years in Project Execution with exposure to Pipeline Construction Projects
Responsibilities:
Supervise mechanical construction activities to ensure technical objectives are met within approved scope, budget, and schedule of the Project.
Prepare scope of work for construction & installation of new pipeline.
Plan execution activity for pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown.
Review & approve execution documents such as Project Quality Plan, Installation Procedures, NDT Procedures, Work Instructions according to contract/client requirements.
Monitor implementation of approved Project Quality Plan.
Review Welding Procedure Specification & Procedure Qualification Record for various processes according to ASME Sec-IX & AWS D1.1.
Manage Welder Qualification Test and maintain qualification & inspection reports of WQT.
Ensure coordination of quality inspections with site subcontractors and vendors.
Monitor quality of work by ensuring compliance with approved drawings, method statements, standards, and guidelines.
Conduct visual inspection of fit-ups & welded joints per WPS/Drawing.
Witness NDTs and Interpret Radiography Films as per approved NDT plan.
Conduct surveillance inspection/expediting as per plans on welding, materials, and dimensional inspection activities.
Check dimensions of prefabricated items per drawing and ensure consistency with P&ID, Piping Plan, and Isometric Drawing.
Track changes and ensure Red Line Mark Ups (RLMU) for approved changes.
Receive, track, and coordinate resolution of Site Technical Queries (STQ) from EPC Contractor.
Provide weekly reports for site representative.
Inspect procured materials and handover to contractor.
Compare planned vs actual and provide feedback to site representative.
Review contractors' daily and weekly progress reports.
Manage EPC (QA/QC representatives) and provide schedule review and feedback to Project Manager.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide technical inputs.
Review or provide feedback on MS & JHA submitted by Construction contractor.
Inspect Hydro test, Leak test, Pneumatic test, Flushing/Air Blowing, and Reinstatement activities.
Review loop history sheet & hydro test pack, handle punch points, and maintain production & inspection report.
