You will work closely with the product owners, analysts and the developers to ensure that products are developed adhering to the highest quality and best practices with quality as a central principle driving product development.As a Senior Developer Quality Assurance you will be responsible for:·Owning quality engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team members.·Making technology choices at individual level and analyse its impact.·Applying Software Development Life Cycle principles and methodologies.·Documenting practices, coding standards, refactoring and Testing Techniques.·Integrating project testing with a continuous-integration process.·Working with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.·Providing expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project.·Developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.·Coding automated test runners for integration-, system-, acceptance- and regression testing, etc.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:·Have an Engineering Degree from an accredited university.·Have experience in test automation with demonstrated experience and ability to write code for the purposes of testing solution code.·Have experience testing web services (SOAP/REST; Throughput, Performance under Load, etc.)·Have experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems such as Jira, Green Hopper, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps etc.·Have experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.·Have experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure.·Have the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.·Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
