Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.Job DescriptionCommunications Control CoordinatorThis position facilitates the day-to-day operation of the Attractions department by being a central point of information being exchanged. Ensures to provide information to the Manager/Supervisor, and to communicate any requests to the respective Departments by phone, two-way radio, or mobile.The Communications Control Coordinator (CCC) is responsible for the communication flow throughout the park's daily operationTo ensure that all received information is passed promptly to the appropriate departments or team membersEnsure all recording and reporting of all issues and irregularities are logged correctly, communicated, and actioned where requiredTo follow up on outstanding issues and report progress back to the Manager / Supervisor for further action if necessaryKnow each radio call sign and use it in the correct mannerOpenly communicates appropriate and useful information to othersCommunicates key information relevant to appropriate peopleKeeps others updated about developments or changes to situationsQualificationsHigh school/Bachelor's degree with relevant experienceGood writing and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamFamiliar with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentationsMinimum of 1-2 years of similar experienceExperience of working in the Leisure industry would be an advantage 1.
