We have a superb opportunity for a Mid-Senior Multi-Channel Strategist to join the dynamic team at a South African provider of Higher Business Education headquartered in Cape Town. We're looking for a seasoned Multi-Channel Strategist who is a well- rounded marketer with a strategic mindset. You should possess excellent technical expertise, in both digital and traditional marketing channels, and a proven track record of using data effectively to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. This is a very hands-on strategic role, in which you will be doing much of the implementation. You should also have a good understanding of CMS tools and analytics as you'll be measuring and directing the team accordingly. The successful candidate will have a passion for leveraging diverse marketing channels to achieve business objectives. You are strong digitally but have a solid grasp on the traditional channels. The role has 2 direct report ins and as such, you'll need experience in leading a creative team of Marketing staff. Consultant: Kim Steven -  Responsibilities Lead & Collaborate with the Marketing Team to Develop Integrated Multi-Channel Marketing Strategies Aligned with the Overall Business Goals & Objectives: Analyse market trends, understanding target audiences, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges for the education sector. Identify key drivers and leverage them to create dynamic and transformative channel strategies.  Pioneer innovative approaches to channel marketing by designing strategies that push the boundaries of the current platforms and leverage emerging platforms to rapidly grow brand visibility, engagement, and conversions across channels. Understand the nuances and potential of various marketing channels and implement strategies that effectively communicate with key audiences. Accountable for the effective strategic management of all owned social media platforms. Create and manage all advertising campaigns to drive traffic to the website, generate leads and applications and ultimately, new registrations. Lead the Creation & Implementation of Digital Marketing Campaigns Across All Digital Channels & Platforms: Social media - experience in utilising platforms like Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok etc. to engage with the audience and drive brand awareness.  Email - knowledge of creating targeted email campaigns for lead generation and nurturing. SEO - understand how to optimise website content and improve search engine rankings to increase organic visibility. SEM - promoting the website and increasing brand visibility on search engine results pages through paid advertising, such as GoogleAds as well as organic search to attract potential students and drive targeted traffic. Content marketing - ability to develop and promote valuable content to attract and retain students.  Optimise paid digital campaigns to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase conversion rates while maintaining a strong focus on ROI.  Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): optimise landing pages and conversion funnels to improve lead acquisition and retention.  Lead the Development of Strategically Sound Marketing Mix Campaigns, Using the Non-Digital Marketing Mix: Print Marketing: Design and produce materials, execute, monitor, evaluate and thereafter adjust strategies. Radio: Identify radio stations and programs that align with the target audience, create compelling content; negotiate ad placement and rates, monitor ad performance, track response metrics, and thereafter optimise and adjust strategies. TV advertising: Develop TV concepts and story books, collaborate with production team, negotiate ad placement and rates, monitor ad performance, analyse viewership, and thereafter optimise strategies. Event Marketing: Collaborate with key marketing team members to create event marketing campaigns to drive attendance and engagement. Measure ROI. Monitor & Analyse the Performance of all Marketing Campaigns & Initiatives, Providing Monthly & Key Campaign Reports & Feedback: Create reports and use analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Utilise data- driven insights to segment target audiences and tailor marketing campaigns to specific demographics. Based on data, implement personalisation strategies to enhance the customer experience and engagement. Identify key performance indicators and benchmarks to evaluate the success of the mulit- channel marketing campaigns. Track performance to ensure positive ROIs for all campaigns. Lead the Promotion, Growth & Development of the Website: Content creation and management: Develop high - quality educational content that is relevant, engaging and optimised for SEO. SEO: Optimise website content for search engines to improve organic visibility; Perform keyword research and implement findings. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website traffic, user behaviour and conversion rates using analytics tools; Generate regular reports to track the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data - driven decisions. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on website elements, landing pages and marketing campaigns to optimise conversion rates and implement improvements based on test results. Community Building: Build and nurture an online community around the brand through forums, social groups or discussion boards and foster engagement with community members. Ensure all website information remains relevant, timeously updated, and correct. Maintain the brand identity and messaging. Lead & Manage The Multi-Channel Team within the Context of the Marketing Team: Collaboration with the Marketing team and the Multi-channel team, fostering a culture of growth and learning. Managing the KPIs and effective delivery of the Multi-channel team members. Managing budgets effectively and efficiently. Management and collaboration of key marketing partners. Requirements The successful candidate must have/be: An appropriate Bachelor's Degree in marketing with a post-graduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management, a plus. 3-5 years' experience in Multi-Channel Marketing at a Senior level, with experience in Higher Education being beneficial. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and marketing automation systems.  Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing strategies that have achieved measurable results.  A track record of leading a team of employees. Exceptional agility, skill, and expertise in navigating the complex landscape of marketing channels as well as being adaptable to new trends, algorithms, and technologies. Technical knowledge: google analytics and web analytic tools; social media management tools; SEO tools; video and multimedia Tools, marketing automation software and content management system tools. Brand communication across multiple channels User Experience (UX) Design knowledge to create user- friendly and intuitive website layouts, navigation, and interactions. Web security awareness to identify potential vulnerabilities. Thoroughly skilled in diverse messaging including social media, PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, website content, to competently recommend best means to communicate targeted messages to specific audiences. Project Management experience. An awareness and view on the role of education in transforming South Africa. An alignment with the business's core values and a belief in our strategic intent. Accountability and responsibility for the results that fall within the scope of work. Proactive, with an inclination towards being able to take actions and decisions towards achieving certain outcomes in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.  Strong leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.  Able to commute to Cape Town for monthly and ad hoc meetings.
