About our client:Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the worldâs largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.Responsibilities:You will be required to perform the following:Assess site lifting requirements. Provide engineering consolations on the most suitable crane/equipment type. Perform technical reviews for lifting methodologies. Your knowledge should include deep understanding of the international standards and regulations for cranes/heavy equipment operation. Assess mechanical activities to evaluate lifting needs. Should have a solid understanding of related engineering disciplines including structural, mechanical and civil engineering. Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferred Mechanical/Civil Engineering) from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred. You will have a minimum of ten years of experience in (specialized heavy lift engineering field). You will be able to demonstrate engineering technical capabilities in conducting heavy lift engineering assessment to identify all lifting requirements including âbut not limited toâ site conditions, equipment selection, crane configuration. Candidate is preferred to be an appointed person certified by accredited organization (e.g. LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association), or equivalent). You must be able to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate highly technical engineering matters with related corporate organization.
