Job DescriptionInstall, Administer, maintain RedHat Enterprise Linux 6,7 & 8 and provide 24/7 support of Linux SystemsTroubleshooting for boot, performance, network, SAN related issues.LVM tasks like Volume group creation, File system creation/extension, Logical Volumes.Administer and maintain RedHat satellite server and applying OS patches.Perform OS and application upgrades and server migration support to new environmentWork with DBA team to provide support for Oracle RAC environment.Managing Users and Groups and applying security permission to users and directoriesAdminister and maintain RedHat IDM server (IPA Server) for centralized authentication.Perform all security/compliance functions for Linux server environments.Resolve major incidents and technical escalations within agreed SLAs and quality.Support for VMWare virtual environment hosting Linux VMs.Utilize Linux scripting to optimize and automate system administrator tasks.Knowledge/experience in ansibleUpdate documentation on current environment and prepare SOPs as when required.Perform root cause analysis for problems and major incidents, provide workarounds to ensure business continuity and prepare RCA reports.Prepare Implementation plan, rollback plan and test plan, risk and impact analysis for critical or complex changes.Provide technical support for disaster recovery
