_**Job Purpose**_
The Team Leader Merchandiser will be responsible for leading and managing the merchandising team. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of product placement and displays to maximize sales and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- **Key Dimensions and Related Job Results**_
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company's business goals and product offerings.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in product presentation and positioning.
- Lead, motivate, and guide the merchandising team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
- Create and optimize planograms for product placement in retail spaces, ensuring visual appeal and strategic positioning for maximum sales impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planograms with promotional activities and product launches.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment of products based on sales trends and forecasts.
- Oversee the implementation of visual merchandising standards to create an engaging and cohesive in-store environment.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and promotional displays.
- Utilize data analytics to assess the performance of merchandising initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales trends, inventory turnover, and the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
- Work closely with retail operations teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising plans in stores.
- Address any operational issues or challenges that may arise in the execution of merchandising activities.
- **Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge**_
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using merchandising software and tools.
- Knowledge of retail operations and store layout principles.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.

**Salary**: Up to QAR7,000.00 per month
