Skills & Responsibilities:Design develop implement and improve upon the computer programs weuse every day including business apps operating systems networkcontrol systems and allied services. Analyze an endusers needs anddevelop custom software solutions within time and cost constraintswith major focus on ensuring system security. Leading coachingmentoring and encouraging a dedicated team of Software engineers toarchitect build deploy and support bestinclass software servicesthat are always available to provide the best experience for ourcustomers. Use a range of programming languages depending on theapplications parameters and the platform on which the program runs.Program test debug monitor and document changes to computer systems& applications. Examine departmental goals and developcustom computer systems for organization. Upgrade existing softwaresolutions to updated platforms with new specifications. Recommendchanges and enhancements to existing software systems and computerapplications. Responsible for system security and data assuranceacross the systems. Writing diagnostic programs and designing andwriting code to ensure efficiency. When required youll makerecommendations for future developments. Ability to work both in ateam and alone and to manage ones own workloadShould be able towork within a group of IT specialists which can include Projectmanagers Business analysts Systems analysts Technical ArchitectsSystems designers and Systems testers. Drive technical bestpractices while utilizing industry trends and new technologies.Collaborate across business units and IT teams to develop andexecute scalable systems in line with the vision strategy androadmap or the organization. Manage the various systems required toeffectively run an organization Communicate effectively andtranslate the needs of different teams into systems developments.May also be responsible for developing and maintainingorganizations Intranet Internet and mobile applications.Proactively investigating new technologies researching designingand writing new software programs Developing existing programs byanalyzing and identifying areas for modification/improvement.Ability to communicate with clients colleagues and management toexplain complex issues clearly and concisely Provide ongoingmaintenance support and enhancements in existing systems andplatforms. Continually updating technical knowledge and skills byattending inhouse and external courses reading manuals andaccessing new applications.Bachelorsdegree in Software Engineering Software development Computerprogramming Computer science or a similar programmingcentric fieldof study. Total 10 years of professional software developmentexperience.Must be fluent in objectorientedprogramming languages such as Java Jscript .NET / Oracle ADF webservices developments Oracle Service Bus implementationUserInterface (UI) design web development project managementnetwork & database fundamentals BPM like ultimus and OracleBPM systems analysis game development interpersonal communicationand technical writing.Excellent knowledge andexperience in relational databases Oracle MS SQL others. Experiencein developing complex web applications and cloud deploymenttechnologies. Working experience in specialist IT companies such asIT consultancies large IT providers software development internetproviders large Public/Private sector organizations that use ITsoftware systems and equipment. Experience in building highperformance activeactive linearly scalable production servicesExperience architecting and scaling distributed systems and cloudnative applications. Experience serving as technical leadthroughout the full software development lifecycle from conceptionarchitecture definition detailed design scoping planningimplementation testing to documentation delivery and maintenance ispreferred Experience in development of distributed/scalable systemsand highvolume transaction applications. Experience with businessprocess management system like ultimus and oracle PBM etc.Experience with web service development and Oracle Service Bus.Experience with PMI/Scrum/Agile developmentmethodologies.This jobhas been sourced from an external job board.More jobson
