Job Description: Project Director
Our client, a prominent global technology, defense, and engineering company, is actively seeking a Project Director to join their team. Renowned for applying technology and innovation to address real-world challenges, the company has earned a stellar global reputation for excellence and trust. The role is based in Doha - Qatar.Responsibilities
- Manage stake holders expectations including clients and partners/vendors. Building strong relationship.
- Make critical decisions , provide direction and leadership to managers on project management, technical management, financial and operational management.
- Report project progress to steering committee, stake holders and senior management.
- Monitor development and implementation progress , ensuring quality and project performance.
- Work with project managers and partners to manage project finances and human resources effectively and in optimal cost.
- Ensure legal compliance and permits required for projects.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Work in an office and at project site.
Requirements/Skills
- Possess both leadership and business management skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers, in an international environment.
- At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role and managing more than two projects.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and is able to present well in project steering committee, and good at senior management updates.
- Able to use own initiative to move project in a complex environment.
- Understand software development, IT, OT, network and cybersecurity.
- Understand system safety and workplace safety.
- Thorough and pay attention to details.
