Project Manager (Values National Identity)

The Values National Identity project is designed to foster a deeper sense of unity, pride, and cultural awareness within the nation, particularly through the educational sector. This initiative focuses on consolidating the core values that define the country's heritage, cultural identity, and shared national aspirations. The project aims to integrate these values into various facets of the education system, ensuring that future generations understand, appreciate, and contribute to preserving their national identity. It involves creating programs that promote cultural understanding, national pride, and collective responsibility, aligning with national goals such as Saudi Vision 2030. Job Description & Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with the program's strategic goals.
  • Identify project dependencies, critical paths, and milestones, ensuring all requirements are clearly defined and understood by stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assign responsibilities, track deliverables, and ensure seamless project execution.
Project Execution and Monitoring:
  • Lead the execution of projects focused on fostering national identity and consolidating values within the education system.
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones, addressing challenges, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the program's vision and objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including MoE departments, external partners, and community representatives.
  • Conduct regular meetings and workshops to align stakeholders, resolve issues, and maintain transparency on project status and outcomes.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans to program leadership.
Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a risk register and ensure that all project risks are actively managed and monitored.
Budget and Resource Management:
  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of project resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial constraints and reporting requirements.
Change and Quality Management:
  • Implement change management practices to ensure the smooth adoption of project outputs across stakeholders.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring project deliverables align with technical and strategic objectives.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Apply lessons learned from past projects to improve future planning and execution.
  • Stay updated on best practices in project management and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in education, government programs, or cultural initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with national policies and frameworks related to Saudi Vision 2030 and educational development.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards and executive slide packs using Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Native Arabic speakers with international experience are preferred for effective cultural alignment and global perspective.
