Areas of Responsibility and Accountability:
  1. Building and executing the sales plan for the conference portfolio (outside of large-scale events)
  2. Achieving personal and event revenue targets for the conference portfolio
  3. Collaborating with team members to ensure they achieve their personal targets
  4. Building and executing B&D new business development and account management plans for all events and products within the Service Provider Market
  5. Identifying and engaging with new prospects within this Market
  6. Having an in-depth knowledge of Tahaluf digital marketing services products, services, solutions and value proposition
  7. Working closely with customers to ensure ROI
  8. Meeting with customers face to face, over the phone, virtually or in writing
  9. Identifying and mapping potential Customer pain points/needs/challenges
  10. Writing business proposals, drafting and reviewing Customer Contracts
  11. Negotiating with multiple stakeholders for a win/win outcome
  12. Preparing sales forecasts and analysis and presenting findings to management
  13. Working as a pro-active member of a high energy/high activity/high achieving business development cohort
  14. Achieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound enquiries, and self-generated leads
  15. Working collaboratively across Tahaluf to promote the wider capabilities and solutions
  16. Building a social media presence through social selling to drive referrals
  17. Staying abreast of trends and changes in the business world locally and internationally
  18. Keeping Customer information/records up to date
  19. Proactively developing yourself and having a personal development plan (IDP)
  20. Working on projects across the business as and when required
  21. Attending/participating in Tahaluf and industry relevant seminars, associations, events, conference and competitor events where appropriate
Measures of Success:
  1. Personal revenue targets
  2. Conference portfolio revenue targets
  3. New business revenue against target/KPIs
  4. Number of net, new logos and new subsidiaries of existing logos
  5. Forecasting accuracy
  6. Ability to follow process – Salesforce / Forecasting / internal operations
  7. Pipeline conversion rate
  8. Achieve total revenue and profit targets monthly, quarterly and annually
  9. Work with the Tahaluf team to deliver solutions and share best practices
  10. New business/Customer development plan objectives vs. achievements
Qualifications Experience & Qualifications:
  1. Industry experience within a New Business hunting role.
  2. Demonstrable experience/track record performing in a new business hunter role in a solutions-based B2B environment.
  3. Knowledge of the Tech / Telecoms marketplace and the business models within it.
  4. Managing stakeholders within a range of different customers.
  5. Demonstrable knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  6. Experience of complex sales situations and demonstratable history of Sales KPI delivery.
  7. Experience using CRM to manage Customer data and forecast sales opportunities.
