Workshop Manager – MEP Maintenance – AF Engineering

In this role you will be responsible for:

Lead and manage electromechanical workshop
Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day operations
Hands-on experience in AC Compressors, repair and rewinding of electrical motors, pumps from 1 HP to 100 HP
Assisting with quotes, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks
Ensuring correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct
Providing oversight and check job estimates
Managing inward goods, checking quantities, dispatching goods and invoices
Acting as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business when required
Receiving and reviewing feedback from customers and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
Promoting a Health and Safety culture within the business

To be successful in winning this role, the following are the prerequisites:

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
7 plus years of hands-on experience in managing an electromechanical workshop
Must have experience managing a team
