OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Project manage field service activities on heavy duty GE gas turbines Frame 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA for our customers including being a single point of contact to the customers at their plants for all aspects of outage service work. This includes budgeting, planning, scheduling, coordination of internal and external resources, process development, and alignment with the technical advisor for site execution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Focal point for customer and to be the company ambassador as project manager.

• Ensure proper alignment with the customer expectations to ensure full satisfaction.

• Review contract details and align the requirements with execution plan and budget and ensure the baseline plan is communicated to all stakeholders.

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

• Define and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to meet the expected deliverables.

• Track project costs in order to meet the budget

• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders with comparison to baseline plan.

• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

• Conduct lessons learned sessions at the completion of the project to identify area of improvement.

• For large tenders, ensure all technical requirements/specifications from the customer are obtained, reviewed and aligned prior to sharing with the tendering and engineering. Then support the tender preparation and with obtaining any technical clarifications from the customer.

• Support tendering by reviewing the technical aspects of the tenders/contract relative to the customer requirements.

• Provide technical advice regarding long term service agreements, relocation projects and CMU's.

• Identify and secure local resources to support site works

• Education:

o B.Sc. in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Marine Engineering

• Additional Training:

o Gas Turbine Technology, Maintenance engineering, Basic IT tools.

o Fully proficient in English and Arabic.

• Experience:

o Minimum of 10 years in a similar role and/or equivalent technical and site management experience.

o Experience in maintenance / relocation / new built activities on heavy duty GE type of Gas Turbines Frames 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA.

o Additional training professional skills

? Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

? Technical and mechanical knowledge of gas turbines and its related equipment.
