Siemens Logistics is a fully owned subsidiary of Siemens AG. Be part of our EHS team as an HSE/Safety Officer (Fresh Graduate Saudi National). This is a site-based role in Riyadh, KSA. What are my responsibilities?
- Support implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and integrating HSE standards into project operations.
- Assist in conducting project inspections and proactively ensure HSE objectives are met.
- Collaborate with the team to investigate accidents or incidents, contribute to reports on work practices, and assist with risk assessments.
- Assist the team in preparing and sharing reports, bulletins, and safety program materials to ensure staff are informed of HSE updates.
- Be proactive on-site by observing and coaching personnel in adopting HSE best practices.
- Assist in inspecting worksite and subcontractor facilities, suggesting corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated on current HSE practices through training and education to enhance professional knowledge.
- Safety: Will be responsible/accountable for following occupational health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Degree/Diploma in Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
- NEBOSH Diploma/NEBOSH IGC or Occupational Health & Safety certifications which are internationally recognized.
- Interested to work in Industrial Automation Industry.
- Basic knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong observational and analytical skills for identifying hazards and suggesting corrective actions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coach and collaborate with on-site personnel and teams.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in the field of HSE.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
