Nair Systems is currently looking for Project Manager - Core Banking for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions. Required skills:
- Accounting Background
- Investment Banking background
- Experience with end-to-end core banking systems.
- Process documentation: Document existing processes with departments such as Treasury, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, etc.
- Timeline: Review the draft project plan shared during the selection phase to ensure it reflects clear milestones and deadlines. Ensure realistic timeframes are allocated for each phase of the project.
- Resource Allocation: Align identified taskforce members and allocate them to each phase, including consultants. Assess any additional training needs for the team.
- Project Risk Assessment: Conduct a risk assessment and create a risk mitigation plan related to timeline delays, resource constraints, scope changes, technology challenges, vendor-related risks, user resistance, regulatory changes, data security and privacy, budget overruns, and external dependencies. Establish a process for monitoring and managing risks throughout the project.
- Milestone Tracking: Implement a robust project management system to track progress against milestones. Regularly review and update stakeholders on project status.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with end-users to perform UAT and validate system functionality. Address and resolve any issues identified during UAT.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure implemented products meet business requirements.
- Change Control Process: Establish a change control process to manage and document any changes to the project scope, requirements, or timeline.
- Reporting Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, including regulatory requirements and internal management reporting. Work with stakeholders to prioritize reporting requirements based on their importance and urgency during different phases of the project.
