This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing and developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the oil and gas sector.Key Responsibilities:Business Development:Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas industry with a focus on drilling lubricants.Develop and execute strategic plans to capture market share and meet sales targets.Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics.Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to the oil and gas sector.Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.Manage the sales pipeline effectively from lead generation to closing, tracking progress and maintaining accurate records.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including drilling contractors, oilfield service companies, and equipment manufacturers.Provide ongoing support and technical assistance to clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues.Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.Technical Expertise:Develop a thorough understanding of drilling lubricants, their applications, and performance benefits in the oil and gas industry.Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients based on their specific operational requirements.Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to drilling lubricants.Collaboration and Teamwork:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to align sales strategies with market needs.Work with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials for drilling lubricants.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for growth.Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development within the oil and gas industry, particularly with drilling lubricants or similar products.Skills:Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.In-depth knowledge of drilling lubricants and their applications in the oil and gas sector.Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-specific tools.Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders.Personal Attributes:Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Job Type: Full-time
