Operations,Planning & Control (Rigs/MRO) Department NBR Projects Closing Date 30-Jun-2024 OPS Purchasing Admin ManagerThe OPS Purchasing Admin Manager is the focal point for coordinating all related Project Procurement activities in Operation of Zone A&D2. He/she support, plans, organizes, oversees and coordinates the procurement process while ensuring effective coordination with the centralized Procurement & Supply Chain, and Engineering Departments of IMI.Key Accountabilitesa. Planning and Coordination:Plans, arranges, oversees, coordinates, and manages project activities.Supports the development of procurement plans (P6) in compliance with client contracts.Supports the development of Project Procurement & Subcontract Requirements, Plans, and Schedules for all projects.Coordinates with the centralized IMI Procurement & Supply Chain Department.b. Procurement Execution (Post-Delivery):Coordinates with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services as per project schedules.Monitors procurement activities, resolves issues or delays, and ensures compliance with contractual obligations.Closely oversees Contractor's activities as per the contract and ensures the on-time submission of required deliverables to meet contractual demands.c. Procurement Cost Management:Monitors and controls procurement costs, ensuring adherence to project budgets.Identifies cost-saving opportunities, implements value engineering initiatives, and optimizes procurement processes.d. Documentation and Reporting:Maintains accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation (post-award), including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.Generates reports on procurement activities, including execution cost analysis, and performance metrics.Reviews and verifies progress reports from different vendors.e. Contract and Vendor Management (Support):Supports the centralized procurement team in the bid evaluation process.Review of contractual terms and conditions.Assists with the determination of contract awards.Monitors and coordinates the management of claims with suppliers, working alongside cost control and procurement.Provides support in resolving contract-related issues and disputes.Strategizes to find cost-effective solutions and qualified suppliers that reduce procurement expense.Regularly reviews suppliers' fulfillment of all contractual requirements regarding customs and duties.g. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Works with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Subcontracts, Projects/Operations, and QHSE.Coordinates with Engineering on deliverables such as drawings, purchase requisitions, and MTOs.Follows up with procurement for the timely release of POs in line with the procurement plan.EducationBachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent proven 15 years+ experience as a Procurement Professional.Preferred - any professional supply chain certification such as CPSM.ExperienceMinimum 15 years' experience; at least 5years' experience as procurement ManagerProven experience in rig building, shipyard operations, project management, and engineering processes.Proven experience in project procurement, sourcing within the shipyard industry sector.Solid understanding of procurement processes, practices, and market dynamics.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.Ability to analyze data, perform cost analysis, and make informedAbout Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome yourapplication.Tocomplete the application you would need the following document(s):
