The QHSE Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the facilities and property management operations adhere to the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with local regulations and international standards, while also fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the organization. The QHSE Manager will lead initiatives to minimize risks, enhance operational efficiency, and promote sustainable practices across all facilities. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide training and support to staff on QHSE standards and best practices.
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Lead incident investigations, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and clients, to communicate QHSE initiatives and performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and suggestions from employees.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation affecting QHSE practices.
- Manage QHSE budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven experience in QHSE management within the facilities management sector.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in QHSE software and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry standards.
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of Arabic being an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to promoting a safe workplace.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards.
- Experience in risk assessment and management.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QHSE management software.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
