About the Role : As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing the business’ clientele in the North and East regions leveraging professional connections and relationships, demonstrating executive presence and value proposition for the CleverTap products. The position calls for a hands-on and growth mindset in growing the business. This role requires a strong hunter mindset in the SaaS sales environment with a track record of closing new business. What will you do :

  1. Own the business targets for the respective account patch and hunt new business from the designated patch.
  2. Establish and build relationships with key customers to understand their needs and create a compelling value proposition.
  3. Interact with customers, give product demos, presentations, and work through the sales cycle to achieve Q-o-Q sales quota.
  4. Build a pipeline for the current and next quarter.
  5. Negotiate agreements with prospects/customers to close deals.
  6. Work with partners and scale the business through them.
  7. Manage Salesforce data daily with meeting notes, sales funnel updates, etc.
  8. Maintain post-sales interface with customers to build long-term relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for ? Must have:
  1. 8+ years of experience in SaaS selling.
  2. Experience working in a startup with a go-getting, hands-on approach, plugged into a hyper-growing sales organization.
  3. Ability to present and articulate key value propositions to CXOs, decision-makers, and influencers in the assigned accounts with excellent communication skills in a B2B2C setup.
  4. Conceptual understanding of APIs, Webhooks, SDKs, Cloud, and SaaS technologies.
  5. Proven experience in account management and growing the business in existing accounts in the India region.
  6. Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
  7. Organizational and time-management skills.
Good to have:
  1. Good understanding of the MarTech domain.
  2. Number-driven approach towards accounts, targets, regional planning, and retention rates.
  3. Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Measures of Success :
  1. Revenue Achievement (Booking, ARR).
  2. Revenue retention (NRR).
  3. Sustainable revenue growth (CAC:LTV).

  1. Functional: Mobile marketing expertise, MarTech understanding, result-oriented.
  2. Behavioural: Problem-solving, consultative selling, communication and presentation skills, negotiation skills.
