A leading provider in Facilities Management and Security committed to offering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions to our clients. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee the operational activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing business processes, and driving efficiency across the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of operational best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Strategy and Management:
    • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.
    • Oversee all operational activities, ensuring that the organization’s business processes run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
  2. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify inefficiencies in operations and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
    • Lead initiatives to continuously improve business processes, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage and motivate a team of operations professionals, ensuring they are engaged, productive, and aligned with company goals.
    • Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the operations team.
  4. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Oversee the department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Manage operational costs and ensure that all resources (financial, human, technological) are used effectively.
  5. Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
    • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Drive cross-departmental initiatives and ensure successful execution.
  6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and senior leadership team on operational performance.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  3. Qualifications – Desirable: FMP, PMP, ILM or Engineering qualification.
  4. Experience:
  5. Minimum of 13 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
  6. Proven track record of successfully managing teams and optimizing business processes.
  7. Skills and Competencies:
  8. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  9. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  10. In-depth knowledge of operations management, process optimization, and risk management.
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  12. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  13. Additional Requirements:
  14. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  15. Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
