We provide forward and reverse logistics, Warehousing & Fulfillment, Freight Services, Pick-Pack & Deliver, and White Glove Services.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewManaging the placement of incoming shipments from clients in the warehouse by verifying items, in-warding, and ensuring items are correctly placed with proper identification code. Ensuring efficient receiving processes and promptly resolving any problems or discrepancies.Key Responsibility AreasReceiving ShipmentReceiving shipments in the warehouse from First Mile Delivery associates who have picked up the items from the client's location.Scanning the received items for updating status in the logistics management system.Sending the scanned shipments to the sorting station for segregation.Placing and storing items in the proper designated areas with proper identification codes.Inspecting the received items with accuracy and reporting any problem or discrepancy.Preparing, maintaining, and sharing the Delivery Run Sheet (DRS) with the Operations Team.Ensuring Operational ExcellenceDaily reconciliation of shipments as assigned to delivery associates ensuring zero discrepancy.Ensuring the daily receiving process is completed in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure.Managing Undelivered ShipmentsReceiving the undelivered shipments and segregating them as "no response, rescheduled and cancelled orders" and updating the status in the Shipsy portal.In case of 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts - Sending the rescheduled, SLA breached and no response shipments to inventory for merchant wise sorting. Changing the status to RTO in the Shipsy portal and return to the client.In case of less than 3 delivery attempts - Sending the items to the sorting stations for dispatching.Ensuring the documentation is complete by filing in the client acknowledged RTO copy.Job Requirements / Desired skills setHigh school/MatriculationMinimum 2 years proven work experience as officer in an organized warehouse environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of staffGood knowledge about routes and areas in UAEMust be proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office automation tools
