Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it's umbrella - SALT, Switch, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere and Public.We are looking for experienced General Technician who possesses the following qualities:Responsibilities:Regular Check and maintenance of the equipments and repair systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standardsPerform maintenance of electrical , Plumbing , Airconditioning systems Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessaryMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityInspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when neededPerform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticideConduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)Qualifications:
Proven experience as maintenance technicianBasic understanding of electrical, electronic , equipment and other systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtimeHigh school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
