Roles and ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the organization's cyber operations to ensure the security and integrity of information systems and data.Develop and implement strategies to protect against cyber threats and respond to incidents.Cybersecurity Strategy Development and Execution:Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity operations strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.Define and manage the roadmap for cybersecurity initiatives, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.Threat Detection and Incident Response:Lead the development and implementation of threat detection and incident response processes.Oversee the monitoring of security systems and the investigation of security breaches.Risk Management and Compliance:Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:Communicate regularly with executive leadership and key stakeholders about cybersecurity risks and initiatives.Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of cybersecurity efforts with business goals.Related Years Of Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT operations, with a proven track record of leading successful operations in complex organizations.Years Of Experience In Managerial Position:Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a related field.Field Of Experience:Large multinationals, Commercial industries, Real Estate.In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and technologies.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Certifications such as CISSP, GSLC, ISC2, CNNP, etc.Desired Candidate ProfileCybersecurity Strategy: Developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Leading and managing the cybersecurity team, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations.Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks to protect the organization's assets and data.Incident Response: Overseeing the incident response plan, ensuring quick and effective responses to security breaches and threats.Security Architecture: Designing and implementing security architectures that protect the organization's networks, systems, and data.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) related to cybersecurity.Threat Intelligence: Staying updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and adapting strategies accordingly.Budget Management: Managing the cybersecurity budget and resource allocation to ensure effective security measures are in place.Training and Awareness: Developing and conducting training programs to enhance cybersecurity awareness among employees.Collaboration: Working with other departments and stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity practices into business processes.Skills:Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to build and guide high-performing cybersecurity teams.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about cybersecurity in relation to business objectives and risk management.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks effectively.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Incident Management: Experience in incident response planning and execution, including post-incident analysis.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting cybersecurity.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and mitigate cybersecurity challenges.Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely implementation of security initiatives.Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with evolving cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
