Roles and responsibilities Direct and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers Reviewing pipeline alignment sheets Review and supervise pipeline design basis and stress analysis Review Pig launcher and receiver units and design, etc. Responsible for providing expertise and ensuring the application of correct standards in all FEED / EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil and Gas processing, production, and export Develop actively the local staff to fulfill engineers and managing role Know the environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas design Know the safety aspects of design in relation to the project cycle (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, IPF classification methodology and implementation, reliability studies, Fire and Gas mapping and risk analysis techniques) Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) technical packages for pipelines related scopes Prepare engineering, construction and material estimation, schedule, resource planning and update resource capacity planning half-yearly Provide first class engineering in one or more of the following fields: risers, subsea pipelines, landfalls, subsea manifolds, piping design, and subsea pipeline Be familiar with working with construction engineers and installation schemes Qualifications Bachelor degree in Engineering Minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in the oil and gas industry Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role with PMC, have worked on ADNOC Onshore projects Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred Familiar with ADNOC Standards and procedures Previous PMC experience is preferable Desired candidate profile Design and Analysis: Leading the design and engineering of pipeline systems, including routing, material selection, and pressure analysis, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. Project Management: Managing pipeline projects from conception through completion, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all pipeline designs and installations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with pipeline operations and developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Technical Support: Providing expert technical guidance on pipeline systems, addressing design challenges, and troubleshooting issues during construction and operation. Site Supervision: Overseeing construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Documentation: Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, specifications, and as-built drawings. Collaboration: Working closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical) to ensure the integration of pipeline systems with other project components. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovations in pipeline engineering practices, staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
