To prove how serious we are, while we develop and grow, our app is totally free as we want you all to be a part of the ride together as we tackle the highs and the lows!Qualifications:Unreal Engine / C++ programmingLeadership and technical managementRequirements:Demonstrable experience of responsibility for the network development on at least one commercial gameAdvanced understanding in C/C++ and C#An advanced understanding of the main gaming platforms and the requirements needed to develop software on themA good understanding of game technology principlesAn advanced understanding and knowledge of modern game network architecturesExperience defining, designing, implementing, and supporting production processes for creative software teamsUnreal and/or Unity engine experienceHands-on experience with at least one commercial network framework (Photon, uNet, DOTS-Netcode, SpatialOS, UE Dedicated Server)A broad range of knowledge and experience with the full network stack from low-level UDP through to simple REST servicesIncorporating third-party systems to fulfil game requirementsUnderstanding of anti-cheat solutions for networked gamesBonus Requirements:Experience with AWSExperience with online services and online service frameworks (Playfab, GameSparks)Responsibilities:Development of our networked and online components on a game project using Unreal EngineAdvising game technical and content teams and evangelizing good network processesWrite clean, professional, and maintainable codeIntegrating networking features with other game subsystemsAssisting with general gameplay programming when requiredIdentify bugs and issues and suggest solutions to mitigate problemsContinuous refinement and optimization of existing codeAccurately schedule tasks and complete them on time, with an understanding of and appreciation for milestones, schedules, deadlines, and efficient development processesDocumenting network implementations in the company knowledge baseSupport and contribute to new ideas to game design and implement proof of conceptMentor and support new team membersRemote Work: No
