General Description of Role and Responsibilities:Liaise with the team of professional planners and support the Project Controls Lead in all Upstream reporting and management.Liaise closely with the Project Management team for day-to-day tasks and requirements.Considerable Planning & Scheduling experience showing clear career progression in the planning field through working either client-side or for a consultancy.Experience in dealing with clients on a daily basis in high-pressure environments.Project Planning and Scheduling.Assist in managing logic networks based on critical path (P6).Assist in the development and preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports & dashboards to the client.Assist in the updating of the Baseline Schedule, including executive summary reports.Identify bottleneck areas and alert management as well as develop solutions.Assist in the development of weekly snapshots as required by the client.Attend meetings with the client and owner and provide information to team members regarding new direction or updated information.Develop appropriate systems and procedures to deliver services to the client.Be a team leader to ensure all deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion.Review and sign off on all deliverables prior to submission to owner & client.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:Must have an undergraduate Civil Engineering degree from a reputable university.Must possess a minimum of 12 years of total experience and 8 years of UAE experience, specifically in Abu Dhabi.Client-side experience managing PMCs, LDCs, Cost Consultants, and other stakeholders. Contractor experience is mandatory as well.Experience in developing and maintaining baseline programmes starting with very little briefs and input.
