Job Responsibilities

1. Access Control: Ensuring only authorized personnel enter certain areas, often involving ID checks, guest lists, and physical barriers.
2. Monitoring: Using surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) and conducting patrols to keep an eye on potential threats or suspicious behavior.
3. Emergency Response: Responding to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or other safety threats, including knowing when to call for backup.
4. Incident Reporting: Documenting any breaches or incidents in a detailed and timely manner.
5. Customer Assistance: In hospitality or public settings, helping guests or patrons with directions, information, or emergency needs.
6. Enforcement of Rules: Ensuring rules and regulations (such as dress code, prohibited items, behavior standards) are followed by patrons and staff.
7. Conflict Resolution: Managing and de-escalating conflicts, whether it’s disputes between individuals or addressing non-compliance issues.
