Job Description:Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure)Dubai, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role you will perform conventional and moderately-complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.What You'll Be Doing:Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.Provides support for other engineering activities as required. May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.Experience and familiarity with Dubai Local Authorities' (DEWA) procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.Review the drawing & design before DEWA approval submittal. Follow up with Contractor as well as DEWA for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format. Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.Coordinate with DEWA/contractor for execution of LV/HV work.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.15+ years of managing construction and supervising of infrastructure projects such as pump stations, irrigation, sewerage, stormwater etc.Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with third party client, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.Experience in dealing with government authorities such as DEWA, RTA, DM etc.Thorough knowledge of DEWA regulations and standards.Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications.Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
