Client Introduction: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of our esteemed clients. This client is a global leader in the IT industry, known for its commitment to quality and innovation. They have chosen Dautom as their trusted partner for their upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrading of OpenShift clusters and related components.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in OpenShift clusters and workloads.

Implement security best practices, including managing role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and OpenShift security features.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.

Optimize resource usage and capacity planning within the OpenShift environment.

Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and cluster upgrades.

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for OpenShift environments.

Stay current with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes updates, patches, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes administration.

Proficient in Linux system administration and networking concepts.

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.

Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation and administration tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
