Job Description: Job title Field Application Engineer - Automation Reports to Technical Manager Location Dubai, UAE Job Purpose : The FieldApplication Engineer for Automation at Easy World Automation LLC plays a critical role in providingexpert guidance and support to clients in leveraging our wide range of productsand solutions. This role is responsible for understanding client needs,designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and offersa dynamic opportunity to work at the forefront of industrial automation,leveraging technical expertise and customer-focused strategies to drivebusiness growth and customer satisfaction. Duties/Responsibilities: Engage withclients to understand their specific requirements and challenges in areas suchas industrial data communication, serial connectivity, automation solutions Collaboratewith clients and internal teams to develop customized solutions that addressclient needs effectively, ensuring scalability, reliability, andcost-effectiveness. Develop andconduct comprehensive technical product presentations, workshops, and trainingsessions for customers to showcase the features, and functionality, and promoteeffective utilization of our solutions. Assist thesales team in preparing proposals, bids, and tender documents by providingtechnical expertise and insights. Analyze theinventory available and wherever relevant offer solutions considering the utilization of the current suitable inventory before procuring new inventory. Provideongoing technical support to clients post-sales, including troubleshooting,configuration assistance, and optimization to ensure smooth operation andmaximum value from our solutions. Act as aSubject Matter Expert for Easy World Automation LLC's products and solutions,staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitivelandscape to maintain expertise in relevant domains. Workclosely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and productdevelopment, in producing high-quality case studies, white papers, newsletters,and other collateral materials to address client needs and drive continuousimprovement. Create andmaintain technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and technicalspecifications to support client understanding and usage of our products andsolutions. Create andMaintain the Reports to log and track their work, activities, and servicesprovided to internal teams and customers. Participatein network planning sessions with customers, offering guidance on applications,usage, integration, and best practices to optimize system performance. Provideon-site support as required by the company, assisting customers withcommissioning, network optimization, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, anddevice replacements. Collaboratewith third-party vendors to integrate complementary products and solutions intoEasy World Automation LLC's offerings. Hold theaccountability for the return and tracking of test units Awarenessof Quality Policy, Objectives, and relevant procedures CollectCustomer Surveys and analyze, record customer complaints, and take correctiveaction Required Skills/Abilities: Strong technical backgroundin industrial automation, data communication, industrial networking, wirelessproducts, and related technologies with the ability to analyze complex problems,identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in working withtender documents, BOQ, technical, and commercial proposals with a strong trackrecord of developing new business with existing clients and identifying areasfor improvement to meet sales targets. Experience in maintainingCRM systems, ensuring prompt follow-up on leads and opportunities with relevantand accurate data. Demonstrated success in allstages of new business development, from prospecting and lead generation toproposal and closing new business. Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts todiverse audiences. Flexibility to adapt tochanging priorities, client requirements, and business dynamics with acommitment to maintain qualifications and technical education to support thesales function effectively. A valid Driving License is aplus . Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5 years of experience intechnical consulting or related roles within the industrial automation sector. Understanding of industrialautomation protocols Experience with Modbus,Analog input, Digital input, DNP3, and HMI will be an advantage. Familiarity with industrialdata communication, automation solutions, wireless communications, IPsurveillance, telephony solutions, computing solutions, and power supplyproducts is highly desirable. Experience in designing andimplementation of WAN, LAN/WLAN, Industrial Ethernet Switching (Layer 2/3), VPN,CCTV, Serial and Fieldbus Communication, Industrial and Embedded PC, Automation(HMI, I/O, RTU), PTP & PMTP Wireless. Experiencewith customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
