Can you explain complex engineering simply? Do you thrive in front of clients?Driven by a global transformation, the client we are representing is expanding their operations into Dubai. Providing security products and services to the real estate industry, they are keen to identify key individuals as cornerstones to their operations in the region.The Project & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for handling greenfield and brownfield projects in electronic security. With responsibility for commissioning and overseeing the installation of equipment and systems, it's up to you to ensure everything is working safely and efficiently!Who will succeed in this role:Degree qualified, you will need the following:Experience in ELV/Security Project managementKnowledge on Lenel, Genetec, Milestone (Enterprise ACS & CCTV) or similar products in installation & commissioning.Strong technical knowledge on IBMS projects and ExecutionExcellent customer relationship and escalation management skillsCandidate with Sira certification is preferred. The selected candidate is expected to clear Sira certification within 1 month of recruitment.Responsibilities will include:Achieve business goals and financial targets in Project Operations.Resource planning & optimising operations to be efficient.Communicate & build strong relationships with customer representatives and ensure that all their project needs are understood and addressed.Collaborate with various internal departments (sales, design, procurement, commercial, commissioning, finance, etc.) and ensure project deliverables are met on time.Adhere to company policies including safety, ethics & statutory requirements.Monitor and track the individual project progress, timelines, risks & dependencies.Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, consultants, and other key team members in the project team.Prepare & circulate project reports in regular intervals (daily/weekly), track the project status towards schedule completion.Prepare commissioning plan in accordance with project guidelines and coordinate with commissioning team for implementation and completion. Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.Coordinate for system testing, demo & training to customer on completed system for effective operation & maintenance.
