WhatYou'll Be Expected ToDo:Develop optimal, fit for purpose andaligned IT architecture solutions that meet customer requirements.Ensure architecture is robust, appropriate and of high qualityconforming to corporate IT standards and roadmaps. Takeaccountability for the end-to-end architecture, includingarchitecture and technology decisions.DevelopEnterprise Architecture standards and guidelines in theinformation, application and technology domains. Work closely withManager Enterprise Architecture and other peer architects in thedevelopment of technology advancements and adaptation of newtechnologies and patterns.Continuously monitorindustry trends, identify and evaluate technologies & toolsthat are relevant for the business. Showcase business value byexecuting Proof of Concepts by engaging relevant ITteams.Establish policy, guidelines andstrategy for the selection of system components and their designs.Assess solution designs to ensure they effectively usearchitectural patterns and adhere to the guidelines. Promote reuseof solutions, platforms and services. Contribute to enterprisearchitecture repository.Guide, mentor, andmotivate the development team members in adopting good engineeringpractices, tools, and techniques throughout the developmentprocess. In addition, advise and support team members to overcometechnical challenges by providing expert consultancy andcoaching.Conduct deep dive architecturereviews of vendor products as part of selection and other criticalproduction applications together with Software Engineetingdevelopment teams. Provide architecuture recommendations for theshort and long-term improvement ofapplications.Develop logical infrastructuresolutions in alignment with the technology standards. Work closelywith infrastructure teams to ensure that the physicalinfrastructure designed meets project requirements, Work together,oversee and govern the development to ensure design andimplementation done by the development team are in line with theproposed architecture definition. Work closely with qualityengineering team to ensure that final solution meets the agreednon-functional requirements.Collaborateclosely with Manager Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment ofinformation, application and technology architecture to the overallarchitecture principles, framework andguidelines.Own, manage and maintain thearchitecture roadmap and runways of small to medium sizeinitiatives, products, environments and/or platforms. Act as aproduct owner and be accountable for proactively identifying,prioritizing, and overseeing the development of technical enablers,technical debts, quality improvements, and applicationmodernization activities.Drive architecturedecisions and be accountable for their implications in regard tosolution costs, delivery schedules, application complexity,technical debt and overall solution performance.Qualifications&ExperienceQualifications& Skills You'll Need ToHave:Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering or an IT related discipline, and 8+years' total experience in InformationTechnology5+ years of experience in the designand development of large scale, complex, distributed, missioncritical applications in heterogeneousenvironments.Hands on experience of detailedbusiness system architecture and design technical leadership acrossgroups of technical architects and senior developers. Ability toinfluence delivery plans based on architecture and skillsconstraints.In-depth understanding of one ormore technologies such as Java, ERP, Cloud, open source frameworks,low code platforms, Big data, BI, data warehouses, observability,automation, network and infrastructure, mobile & frontendtechnologies, AI/ML, container management platforms, database,integration, digital workplace, DevOps. IoT, Blockchain, web 3.0,service management platforms, messaging, cyber securityetcUnderstanding of Architecture Methods,Principles and Patters (OOAD, GoF,SOAetc.).Understanding of Architecture and designartifacts (Archimate, C4, UML modelsetc.Understanding of agile softwaredevelopment methodologies such as SCRUM and ScaledAgileUnderstanding of Open Source Frameworks (Apache, Spring etc.)Understanding of crosscutting architecture capabilities (Rules, Workflows, Securityetc.)Understanding of the big picture view,non-functional requirements and other practices such asobservability, automation etc.Understanding ofarchitecture styles such as microservices, event drivenarchitecture, cloud nativeapplications.Understanding of well architectedframework for cloud deployments.Preferablygood understanding and experience in airlinedomain.
