Procurement Officer********Should be availableto join immediately********Full JobsDescriptionJobResponsibilities: Estimating andestablishing cost parameters and budgets forpurchases. Maintain accurate records ofpurchases database and pricing. Vendormanagement including timely payment as part of the primaryresponsibility and maintain good relationships withvendors/suppliers. Making professional decisionsin a fastpaced environment. Maintain records ofpurchases pricing and other important data.Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers supply and priceoptions. Develops plans for purchasing equipmentservices and supplies. Negotiate the best dealfor pricing and supply contracts. Ensure thatthe products and supplies are high quality.Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and currentsupplies. Maintain and update list of suppliersand their qualifications delivery times and potential futuredevelopment. Working with team members tocomplete duties as needed. Devise and usefruitful sourcing strategies. Approve theordering of necessary goods and services. Trackand report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improveeffectiveness. Perform risk management forsupply contracts and agreements. Control spendand build a culture of longterm saving on procurementcosts. Foresee alterations in the comparativenegotiating ability of suppliers andclients.Qualifications/Requirements: 45 Years of Relevantexperience steel manufacturing industry. BachlerDegree/ Diploma in Logistic/Procurement. Must beknowledgeable in Microsoft office ERP. Shouldhave a valid UAE driving license. Proficiency ininventory management software.
