JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:Safety Compliance: Monitor andenforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations,standards, and policies related to machinery operation, includingOSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines andindustry-specific regulations.Risk Assessment:Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses of machinery andequipment to identify potential safety hazards, assess associatedrisks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the likelihoodof accidents or injuries.Safety Procedures:Develop, implement, and review safety procedures, protocols, andstandard operating procedures (SOPs) for the safe operation,maintenance, and servicing of machinery, ensuring that they arecommunicated effectively to relevantpersonnel.Training and Education: Providetraining and educational programs to employees, contractors, andsubcontractors on safe machinery operation practices,equipment-specific safety protocols, emergency procedures, and theuse of personal protective equipment(PPE).Safety Inspections: Conduct regularinspections and audits of machinery, equipment, and work areas toidentify potential safety hazards, ensure compliance with safetystandards, and address any issues or deficienciespromptly.Incident Investigation: Investigatemachinery-related incidents, accidents, near misses, and othersafety incidents to determine root causes, analyze contributingfactors, and develop corrective actions to preventrecurrence.Safety Culture Promotion: Promote astrong safety culture by fostering awareness, accountability, andparticipation among employees through safety meetings, toolboxtalks, safety campaigns, and recognitionprograms.Emergency Preparedness: Develop andmaintain emergency response plans and procedures formachinery-related incidents, including evacuation plans, first aidprotocols, and coordination with emergencyservices.Safety Equipment: Assess, select, andensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment,guarding devices, and engineering controls to protect workers frommachinery-related hazards.Documentation andReporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reportsrelated to machinery safety activities, including inspectionreports, incident reports, training records, and safety performancemetrics.JOBQUALIFICATIONS:Candidates MUST be immediatelyavailable and currently based in theUAEBachelor's degree in OccupationalHealth and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,or a related field. Certification in occupational health and safety(e.g., CSP, OHST, CHST) is a plus.Provenexperienc INT
