Job Description:

The Mechanical Site Engineer will work alongside the Electrical Engineer and the duties will include:
  1. Attend installations and breakdowns nationwide when necessary and ensure that call-out policy is maintained
  2. Service, repair, and assembly of equipment on site
  3. Maintain and improve company procedures where possible
  4. Complete site reports after each visit
  5. Be a good ambassador for the company
  6. Ensure that the company vehicle is stocked at all times as van-stock and tools will be required
  7. Work alongside an Electrical Site Engineer at all times
  8. Be prepared to stay away from home when required, at least 1-2 nights per week
  9. When requested be available on a rota basis to provide standby cover over weekends and bank holidays
It would be good to see Mechanical Site Engineers with:
  • Mechanical engineering qualification
  • Experience of working in a similar role or maintenance
  • Ideally trained in the following areas – confined space, first aid & CSCS
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Be a team player
  • Ability to manage own workload

Hours:

40-hour week (8 hours per day) + overtime

Salary:
