Job Summary and Purpose Maintain fleet seafarers' records and administer and process seafarers' payroll accurately and on timely manner, according to the company applicable policies and procedures.  In addition, the role is responsible to maintain marine personnel vendors' information/records, review and process their related invoices on time. Accountabilities Key Accountabilities: 1. Process the monthly seafarers' wages on-board and ensure the latest Bank account information are updated in the system.  2. Ensure all the eligible allowances are captured while running the payroll process followed by employment contract and Company P&P.  3. Ensure all the advances granted to seafarers are deducted.  4. Obtain relevant approvals and coordinate with finance and treasury functions for timely transfers. 5. Send pay slips to the seafarers via email or crewing software. 6. Maintain proper track on any salary return in coordination with treasury and ensure retransfer process has been managed thru Ad-hoc payments.  7. Ensure proper management of Cash to Master, keep appropriate track of deductions against payment and maintain monthly reconciliation. 8. Prepare and post payroll entries into the system including vessel's budget and accruals. 9. Coordinate with GL team and AR to ensure all the back charging payroll costs are managed monthly and on timely manner  10. Monitor and answer email messages, calls for all related queries.  11. Independently manage internal and external audits related to Payroll for seafarers 12. Generate/prepare required reports to Management as required.  13. Manage seafarers final and leave settlements as per applicable policies and procedures.  14. Assisting MPD for preparation and finalizing annual bonus and reward for Seafarers. 15. Maintain all personnel data related to fleet seafarers and Marine Personnel vendors' bank accounts in line with the related requirements.  16. Administer Marine Personnel relevant vendors' agreements and ensure their validity and timely renewal.  17. Process and settle relevant vendor invoices in a timely manner  Generic Accountabilities: Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ): 18. Financial Authorities Not Applicable Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills Qualifications: • Diploma degree in Accounting or Finance.  • Related certificates such as CMA/CPA/ACCA, etc. is an advantage. Experience  • 3-5 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry. Strong payroll and analytical skills with relevant financial experience.  Job Specific Skills:  • Knowledge of payroll systems. • Reasonable amount of understanding of the Maritime industry and the extensive legal requirements pertaining to employment of marine personnel • Understanding of travel and government procedures • Knowledge of HR principles and practices • Computer literate- Microsoft suite of products
