Your Opportunity The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources, and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle. In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works. We are looking for a QA & QC Inspector to ensure implementation of Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) and conduct Quality inspections across the projects. The ideal candidate should possess good presentation skills and be able to market the benefits of quality to all stakeholders. The QA & QC Inspector will report into the QA Supervisor / QA Manager and will be based in Riyadh. Key Accountabilities Assess the contractor implementation of quality requirements. Implement best practices to prevent defects and drive continual improvement initiatives Manage engagement with Client stakeholders Facilitate Risk Management and Root Cause Analysis Arrange Training awareness for to the PMC/EPM Conduct the day-to-day inspection activities at the project sites Prepare inspection reports Issue NCRs, observations and proactive notifications based on the results of their surveillance inspection visits Enforce implementation of the Quality plan, Procedures and Technical work instructions Drive improvement based on the lessons learned and best practices Inspect the implementation of the processes and procedures at project sites Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and guidelines in Projects Educate the construction contractors on the technical compliance to the quality requirements. Proactively engaged in the construction activities to assist in resolving and overcoming technical quality issues. Plan regular site surveillance visits and walkthroughs to maintain intensity of the site construction compliance to the Quality requirements. Specific Requirements Technical and Professional Skills Years of experience in inspection Able to apply quality tools and techniques Analytical thinking and Problem-Solving Skills Attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines Ability to work in a team or individual basis Ability to motivate and manage others Good communication and observation skills Excellent command of the English Language Developed short internal training courses and a training matrix for HSQE Knowledge of Facilities management operations. Qualifications Degree / Diploma qualified in an engineering subject Good knowledge of ISO 1-5 Quality Management System Standard ISO 1 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) Degree / Diploma qualified in an engineering subject Inspection certification as applicable NDT, API, AWS, CSWIP, Coating…) What's in it for you?
