SITUATION IN ORGANIZATIONN+1: Reporting directly to the Head of Production Performance.N+2: Production & Well Performance ManagerACCOUNTABILITIESGeneral The Production Excellence Lead Engineer Manages and Maintains the modification portfolio, that can be more than $200M at any given time, from reception to Close-Out. Responsible for conducting the Technical and Business assessment (sensitivity analysis, economic evaluation, cost estimate & schedule) for T3, Class 1 & 2 Requests for Change (RFC s). Assigns the RFC s to the team members who are the FOP s Project Lead for the RFC. They are the focal point for the full RFC life-cycle, from reception to Close-Out Manages the workload and priorities of the team to ensure the maximum value to NOC. Responsible for overseeing and reviewing the Decision Support Package for each opportunity and is presented to the Field Operations Manager Decision Meeting Responsible to identify solutions and develop Scope of Requirements to reduce the overall risk level carried by North Oil Company Ensure North Oil Company Rules and Standards applicable to MOC are applied, followed, and complied with Interaction / collaboration within and outside of FOPs. Brings together NOC s various entities to achieve common goals through effective meetings, workshops & verbal/written communication. Act as the delegate for the Production Performance Head Furthermore, the Production Excellence Lead Engineer is accountable for below aspectsNationalizationSupport and drive Nationalization efforts in PWP through Graduate Development Training programmes and organizational reviews as necessary Support cross departmental rotation efforts to develop a wider range of skills amongst National Graduate Engineers.Health, Safety & EnvironmentProvide support and direction to resolve Management of Change issues Ensures that the safety aspects are considered & captured in the Impact Assessment & issues are resolved with liaison with HSESystems, Tools & Reporting To promote SCIFORMA as the tool to administrate & track Requests for Change (RFC) Develop the teams Dashboards & Reports Drive the development of a Lean Culture within the Production Excellence Team Maintain overall overview on all systems and tools required to enable the team to deliver objectivesJOB DIMENSIONSAl Shaheen is a giant offshore field with average daily production target around 300 Mbopd + 800 Mbwpd and 1300 Mbwpd of injection. There are more than 550 wells drilled from more than 21 wellhead platforms where the assets are tightly interlinked in their operations with a high degree of complexity. The huge volume of operations, the multiple surface challenges and the digital transformation ongoing within the company make it necessary to have a Production Excellence specialist to provide expert advice to ensure the technical robustness of the Management of Change system and promote the development of the competencies within NOC. Requires a very transverse mindset as there are many stakeholders contributing to the MOC process, in particular FOPS, E&C, HSEQ. The job holder is required to demonstrate management skills in building and nurturing an effective team. They will be responsible for setting team goals and performing staff evaluation with a view to continuous improvement. Due to the important interface role with other entities, they must be an effective communicator and adept at presenting the Field Operations requirements.ACTIVITIESHSEDrive an Incident Free environment through maintaining a strong safety culture Reinforce NOC s Golden Rule for Management of Change related to Plant Modifications to promote awareness and continuous improvement Validate all RFC Impact Assessments ActivitiesImprove long-term production and wells performance by proposing improvement opportunities (Request for Improvement-RFCs) to management and by managing them Prioritize opportunities that targets North Oil Company strategic objectives (OPEX and Prod. and injection efficiency) Initiates Closing Forecast / Initial Budget exercise within PEX. Coordinates input for potential new RFC s from Initiating Departments/Teams. Prepares Modification Register, reviews and confirms Business priorities. Coordinates the preparation of the report/presentation for FOM Review & arranges FOM review & approval meeting Provide work direction and technical guidance, check work/project progress, identify team resources, set priorities and time schedules for team Prepare and update processes and procedures, when required, and monitor adherence to ensure effective running of the RFC process Sciforma System: Provides input & direction to continuously improve the Sciforma System & Processes in conjunction with the Principal Production Excellence Engineer Develops KPI Dashboards, in conjunction with FOP s System team, for automation of KPI reporting Monitors RFC process status: Prepares/reviews PEX weekly reports & Dashboards. Identifies problem areas and bottlenecks. Pro-actively intervenes and removes blocks to prevent unnecessary delays Review and approve all Statement of Requirements (SOR s) Assure and validate the Business Case for each RFC, at each gate of the process Chairperson & organiser for regular RFM Class 1 & 2 reviews Organise & manage the Field Operations Decision Gate meetings Organise & manage a full RFC review, minimum twice yearly, with the Field Operations Manager & FOP s Leadership team Oversee the Close the Loop process and present at the PPG forum on a quarterly basis Manage the appraisal process for team, identifying technical and business training needs and providing input to recommendations for promotions, spot awards etc. in conjunction with line management. Manage the development of skills and knowledge of the team to deliver best performance from both an individual and team perspective Ensure clear communications and strong collaboration / integration of the key aspects of Production Excellence and Management of Change with other Entities, departments, teams and disciplines Ensure knowledge sharing between teams through forum, workshop, lunch and learn, formal training etc Promotes continuous improvement, results oriented culture, feedback loop and peer reviewsCONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENTHead Count position within the NOC Joint Venture The role is based onshore on a residential basis notionally working a 5 day/40 hour working week, Sun-Thursday Visits to offshore locations will be required on an ad-hoc basis Company Industry Oil & Gas Department / Functional Area Product Development Product Management Keywords Lead Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
