**Summary**:

- Responsible for drilling geotechnical and mining holes at various locations. You will operate drilling equipment and machinery to take rock and soil samples and install subsurface instrumentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate drilling equipment to extract soil and rock samples for geotechnical analysis and investigation.

- Follow drilling plans and instructions, ensuring accurate sample collection and data recording.

- Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to interpret drilling results and adjust procedures accordingly.

- Document drilling activities, including locations, depths, and soil/rock descriptions.

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of drilling sites.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment as needed.

- Monitor drilling progress and adjust techniques to address changing conditions.

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on drilling techniques and safety measures.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in drilling operations is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Driller in geotechnical or related fields.

- Familiarity with drilling equipment, tools, and techniques.

- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

- Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.

- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data
