Job Summary
Commercial bank is hiring aHead Finance ALM and Liquidity Managementto join our dynamic organization.
As a direct report of the Chief Financial Officer, to be the Finance department's lead resource for Liquidity and Asset & Liability Management (ALM). Working closely with the Treasury department and the ALM business, to provide transparent and effective business partnering through the timely and accurate delivery of comprehensive financial and performance analysis.
Improve the effectiveness and internal control function of the Liquidity and Treasury ALM business and the streamline and document the Finance production processes in the area of liquidity and Treasury management.
Key Accountabilities
Effective leadership, motivation and management of the Finance Liquidity and ALM area/team to deliver on annual and strategic objectives to the highest possible service standards
Secretary to ALCO Committee, providing key and relevant performance data on a regular basis
Lead contributor and coordinator to the senior management Weekly Liquidity Management meeting
ICAAP & Liquidity - advising and providing guidance to the CFO and ALCO on all matters pertaining to Liquidity management relating to the ICAAP process
Other Accountabilities
Monitoring liquidity performance/metric against the Bank's risk appetite (RAS) and business strategy
Developing, supporting and implementing liquidity management strategies aligned to the overall Bank growth mandate, including understanding, transparency and improvement in the Cost of Funds and associated reporting - with the goal of being a key driver in the optimising the Bank's financial liquidity management
Actively manage Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) process throughout the bank
Skills
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Finance related subject
Ideally Masters Degree
Management position held for at least 5 years
English & Arabic speaker, ideally
Minimum Experience:
Over 15 year-experience spanning multiple finance functions
Specifically managing Liquidity and Asset and Liability Management, Profit &Loss (P&L) and Treasury Risk Monitoring
ICAAP production
Liquidity Stress Testing and management
Knowledge, & Other skills:
Highly adaptable team player, committed to implement a positive change
With a broad and comprehensive knowledge of the global financial marketplace
Effective communication and leadership
Demonstrable track record of being able to manage and deliver complex projects
Skills
Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure
Accounting Methods

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, and or Management - related major
