Job SummaryA Senior BIM Coordinator is a professional responsible for ensuring effective design coordination and data management within projects. They are responsible for developing BIM execution plans, coordinating BIM models, and conducting quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Additionally, they facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, provide training and support on BIM tools, and contribute to maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Design & CoordinationCollaborating with project teams to develop BIM execution plans and standardsManaging and coordinating the creation, modification, and distribution of BIM models and dataConducting regular quality control checks on BIM models and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirementsAssisting project teams in clash detection and resolution by identifying and resolving conflicts in BIM modelsFacilitating collaboration and communication between different project stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, contractors, and ownersTraining and supporting project team members in the effective use of BIM software and toolsKeeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and best practicesAssisting in the development and implementation of BIM-related workflows and processesAssisting in the preparation and coordination of BIM-related documentation, such as BIM project execution plans, BIM standards, and model delivery requirementsParticipating in project meetings and providing BIM-related updates and recommendations to project teams Data Management:Manage and organise files, ensuring proper version control and file naming conventionsCreate and maintain a comprehensive database of drawings and design files Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.Revise and modify drawings as required based on feedback from project team members Documentation:Prepare and maintain project documentation, including record drawings and as-built documentationAssist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed Next StepsIf you're ready to embark on an exciting journey with WiiGroup, we encourage you to submit an application or submit your CV to careers@wiigroup.com.
