Job Description Shape young lives with expert hands as a Paediatric Surgery Consultant in renowned hospitals across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. This pivotal role empowers you to utilise your expertise, treating a diverse range of surgical conditions in children medicine, offering hope and restoring health for a brighter future. *Must have recent experience of working in the UK/Europe/USA/Canada/Australia/NewZealand* About the Opportunity: Join the dedicated team and: Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, from minimally invasive laparoscopy to complex reconstructive surgeries. Provide expert care for diverse conditions like congenital anomalies, gastrointestinal disorders, urological concerns, and trauma. Lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with specialists like neonatologists, anaesthetists, and intensivists for optimal outcomes. Stay at the forefront by participating in research and conferences, shaping the future of paediatric surgery. Make a profound impact on the lives of children and their families by offering expert care and guiding them through their surgical journey. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and develop individualised treatment plans for each child's unique needs. Master a diverse range of surgical techniques, ensuring precision and minimal invasiveness whenever possible. Lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, fostering seamless care and clear communication. Oversee postoperative care and manage potential complications, ensuring smooth recovery and healing. Actively participate in research activities, potentially leading to publications and presentations, advancing knowledge in the field. Contribute to teaching and training of residents and fellows, fostering the next generation of paediatric surgeons. Qualifications: Board-certified or equivalent in Surgery with subspecialty training in Paediatric Surgery from Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy paediatric surgical practice with demonstrably positive patient outcomes. Proven expertise in managing a wide range of paediatric surgical conditions and performing diverse surgical procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a child-centred and empathetic approach. A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
