Manages and oversees the immigration processfor all employees and visitors. This includes visa acquisitions,blood typing, medical health screenings, andfingerprinting.Provides Arabic translation services andon-call services for all governmental transactions letters andapplications including but not limited to: traffic violations,arrests, incarcerations and traffic accidents.Ensures upto date communications to management on country's localLabor, Governmental Laws and Qatar Tourism changes and newlaws/decrees for staff (And their families), hotels andoutlets.Provides counsel and recommendations tomanagement when Qatar law & customs areinvolved.Maintains effective communication with alllevels of the organization.Manages and maintain recordsfor all GRP (Hotels, Staff and visitors) related letters,applications and transactions properly.Manage andMaintain all GRP (Hotels, Staff and visitors) related LSOPs as perACCOR standards aligned with local laws andregulations.Promote a friendly, dynamic andcollaborative work environment that includes, open communication,teamwork, participation, trust, respect, professionalism andfun.Attend and participate in meetings and committees asrequired.Work towards exceeding company'sbusiness targets & Take positive/resourceful approach toevery project.Set, Manage and deliver annual targets forGRP section.Manage and track allocated petty cashexpenditure through maintaining original receipts and throughtimely preparation of expense report.Manage and overseeall government transactions and visits to government agencies in anefficient and timely manner to minimize cost and avoid penaltiesand additional fees.Establish and maintain productiveworking relationships with key and operational government officesincluding but not limited to: Qatar Tourism, Medical Commission,Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Interior (CID, Immigrations Office,Security and Safety Department), Municipality, Ministry of Economyand Commerce, Ministry of Business and Trade, Consumer ProtectionDepartment, Customs, Airport Authorities and other Ministries andagencies, in order to assist with the efficient processing andapproval of requests and formalities.Liaise with allgovernmental offices and authorities in relation to setting uplicenses including resort trade license, chamber of commercecertifications of registration, civil defense certificate,etc.Manage and Maintain all licenses LSOPs and filesproperlyConduct periodic internal audit to ensurecompliance with local laws and regulations, and ACCORLSOPs.Work closely with Talent & Culture andAdministration teams to ensure the timely completion and executionof relevant government and administrativeformalities.Keep the Talent & Culture teaminformed of significant changes and issues that may jeopardize theachievement of company goals, and those that are not beingaddressed adequately.Manage and maintain all visadocumentation related to new hires, separations of employment,transfers of sponsorship, renewals files, applications, letters,etc.Organize attestation of certificates and legaltranslation of documents and other activities related toimmigration and labor.Manage and maintain thesponsorship reports from immigration, labor office andsponsorships, and the re-submission to immigration and labor officewith relevant support documents.Support and provideguidance to the GRP team with candidates in regard to the workpermit documentation required and the process tofollow.Support and provide guidance to the GRP team onobtaining necessary approval from management for issuing exitpermits to staff as and when required.Manage, Resolve,record and highlight to management immigration related issues in atimely manner.Support and provide guidance to the GRPteam in attending to employee queries regarding details ofimmigration formalities, and entitlements.Support andprovide guidance to the GRP team with the process of theimmigration requirements in the most effective and efficient mannerto expedite on boarding of new employees including pre-approval ofnationalities and gender for pre and post opening.Updaterelevant business areas with issues, risks, and statuses ofimmigration/government processes and provide relevant solutions ona timely manner.Ensure immigration processes arecompleted in minimal time including Resident Permits, DriversLicenses, Visas, CID procedures etc.Maintain employeefiles and documents relevant to immigration and relevant forms forall types of immigration transactions.Manage and ensureall renewals transactions (Hotels, staff and guests) are processedon a timely manner.Direct the preparation andmaintenance of reports as are necessary to carry out the functionof immigration.Prepare periodic reports to ExecutiveTalent & Culture Director for management updates orrelevant authorities, as necessary and asrequired.
