Job Summary To supervise and follow up ondraftsmen work schedule, verify and check shop drawings andtechnical submittals. Job Responsibilities 1 • To manageself, to manage others and to liaise with the MEP coordinators,main contractor technical team, consultant, etc... • Toensure the discipline shop drawings are prepared in accordance withthe relevant design drawings, specifications, details incoordination with all other disciplines. • To ensure thatthe drawings submission schedule efficiently within the targetschedule in the best quality. • To ensure the shopdrawings are executed in compliance with local authorities that hasjurisdiction over the discipline scope of work i.e. KM, QCDD,Ooredoo, Health and Safety and all standards applicable to theproject such as QCS2014 and the project specifications. •To ensure adherence to the relevant company's policies andprocedures. Job Responsibilities 2 • To ensure adherenceto the relevant company's policies and procedures.• To ensure the satisfaction of the client, consultant andmain contractor and MEP project manager/CM always. • Toguide the technical engineers/draftsmen through the work activitiesmanagement process throughout the duration of the projectengineering phase. Assign specific targets to the various workactivities. • To plan and allocate responsibilities toteam members. • To review and approve shop drawings beforesubmission. • To review and approve design calculationsbefore submission. • To review and sign-off materialtechnical submittal before issuance to consultant. • Toreview and approve method statements in compliance with projectspecifications, authorities, etc... • To liaise with othertechnical departments(architect, structural..etc) for the relevantreviews, approvals, etc...
