Experience 4+We are seeking an outstanding DevOpsEngineer with a passion for productdevelopment.To succeed in this role you needto be a person who can take ownership of operational issues andperform both short-term resolution and development of preventivemeasures for the longer term. Proactively perform monitoring tomaintain highest availability and performance of systems supported.You ll managing and responding to queries and issues reported bybusiness users while maintaining strong relationships with businessstakeholders. You ll get an opportunity to utilise developmentskills to drive automation and improvement within immediate area.Work assigned shifts to ensure fullbusiness coverage, on weekdays, as part of follow-the-sun supportmodel and Work rostered weekends. Youll bring 4 to 9 years of experienceand a selection of the following technicalskills: Strong problem solving andanalytical skills Ability to work as anindividual contributor as well as part of a largerteam Solid communicationskills Essential experience inUNIX, bash, Shell scripting, Oracle and strong SQLskills. Understanding ofIncident, Change and Problem managementprocesses Proactive and flexible approach towork - eager to embrace change and take on opportunities to developnew skills and gain business/technicalexposure. Able to plan and prioritise ownobjectives and deliverablesIt is also an added advantage, if you holdexperience with supporting vendor systems and experience workingwith Confluence, JIRA, Remedy (or similar ticketing system).Experience with JasperSoft, Pentaho, AWS, Splunk highly regardedwith prior experience supporting middle & back officesystems highly regarded.
