JobOverview: Scaffolding Estimator inthe Oil and Gas industry primary responsibility will be to assessanalyze and estimate the cost of scaffolding projects for variousoil and gas facilities. Need to play a crucial role in ensuring thesafety efficiency and costeffectiveness of scaffoldinginstallations supporting the overall success of construction andmaintenance projects within the industry.Key Responsibilities:Project Evaluation: Evaluate project requirements specifications anddrawings to understand the scope of scaffolding work. Collaborate with project managers engineers and otherstakeholders to gather relevant information.Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates forscaffolding projects considering material costs labor equipment andoverhead expenses. Utilize industrystandardestimating software and tools to ensure precision.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on safety regulations industry standardsand codes related to scaffolding in the oil and gassector. Ensure that all estimates complywith relevant safety and regulatory requirements.Vendor and MaterialManagement: Collaborate withvendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for scaffoldingmaterials and services. Maintain a databaseof reliable and costeffective suppliers for quick and accurateprocurement. RiskAssessment: Identify potentialrisks and challenges associated with scaffoldingprojects. Propose mitigation strategies tominimize risks and ensure successful project execution.Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams clients andsubcontractors to clarify project requirements and address anyinquiries. Provide detailed and transparentexplanations of cost estimates to relevantstakeholders.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or arelated field.Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in scaffolding estimationpreferably within the oil and gas industry.Proven track record of successfully estimating andmanaging scaffolding projects.Skills: Proficiency in using scaffolding estimating software and MicrosoftOffice applications. Strong analytical andmathematical skills for accurate cost calculations. Knowledge of industryspecific scaffolding techniquesmaterials and safety standards.Certifications: Certification in scaffolding safety and relevantindustry certifications are highly desirable.Communication andCollaboration: Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
