Responsiblity:Analyzing allprescribed texts and resources to develop quality lesson plans andcurricula.Collaborating with fellow teachersand learning from their methods, teaching strategies, and classroommanagement techniques.Delivering engagingHistory lessons on different time periods, movements, and otherhistorical events and figures.Grading exams,tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations, and contactingparents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and scheduleinterventions.Sourcing guest speakers andorganizing events and educational fieldtrips.Keeping abreast of currentevents/movements and using these themes to keep historical contentrelevant.Ensuring all curriculum, and school,and state requirements are met.Providing extrasupport to struggling students and additional resources to thosewho display exceptional interest inHistory.Using digital technology to improvelearning and keep accurate studentrecords.Constantly expanding educationalnetworks and participating in workshops, lectures, and otherlearning opportunities.
