Ensure and promote the applicationof COMPANY HSE and Safety Engineering rules andstandards;Ensure that contractors comply atall times with safety rules, taking actions as required in case ofdisregards;Ensure the implementation ofapplicable laws, codes and standards, in particular theCompany's technical;reference systemin the design of installations on top of which safetyengineering;Implement the Company HSE risksmanagement process in Brownfield activities: Identify Hazards,perform adequate risk assessment studies and subsequently defineadequate conceptual barriers (as per Company reference systemprescriptions and/or as per detailed risk studies outcomes whererequired. Development of COMPANY particular project guidelines andprocedures;Lead/participate or supervisesafety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, analysis and consequencemodeling;HAZAN, Dropped Object studies, Fireand Explosion studies, SIL assessment, adapted to E&Cactivities;Be responsible for the developmentof required deliverables of the facilities' safetydossier (Safety Concept, ESD and Fire and Gas detection, Active andPassive Fire Fighting, Fire and Gas detection, Evacuation andEscape Route, Hazardous area classification, Safety CriticalElements and performance standards of safetysystems);Ensure the appropriate support andfollow-up of all Project activities, and approve of safetyengineering design studies. Participate to Project Reviews as perCOMPANY project management system for his field ofexpertise;Participate to safety audits, andcontribute to near miss investigations by providing the technicalexpertise in Safety Engineering;Propose designcorrective measures as learned from incident and operation feedbacks, propose innovative design solutions and improvements ofCompany processes.
